Women hold posters and flags at the 17th Annual Cesar Chavez Pilgrimage and Celebration. Over 100 students, citizens and local organization members met at the Pomona Unified School District Building at 9:30 a.m. in front of a tree that is said to be over 300 years old. Joined by representatives from AIM, NAACP, UFCW, M.e.ch.a clubs from Mt. Sac and Pomona high schools, and other community leaders; they walked to Garey High School protesting for farm worker and immigrant rights.
